Empey Learning Center

Project Description

The Empey Learning Center in Freeland, MI preserves over 270 taxidermied animal specimens, mostly birds. With such a large collection, the museum needed a self-guided way to help visitors understand what they were looking at.

Using the interactive touch screen monitors ZENTX built, visitors to the Empey Learning Center can learn about each of the animals and birds on display in the wildlife gallery. We designed the system so that visitors can search by image, meaning they can look up information without knowing the specimens’ names.

  • Touch screens
  • Pedastal displays
  • Transparent cases
  • Wooden case structures
